Devotional
Have you ever noticed how a dark room suddenly reveals all its contents when light floods in? Similarly, living in God's truth brings everything into the light. While this might feel uncomfortable at first, it's actually liberating. When we choose to live transparently before God and others, we no longer need to maintain facades or remember which version of the story we told to whom. This transparency isn't about brutal honesty that hurts others; it's about authentic living that reflects Christ's character. When we walk in the light, we experience the freedom that comes from having nothing to hide.
Bible Verse
"This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God." - John 3:19-21
Reflection Question
What would change in your relationships if you committed to complete transparency before God and others?
Quote If you want to be honest, if you want to be able to live a life of simplicity, life that's radically transparent, and have integrity, there's only one way to do it, and that is having Christ living in you.
Prayer
Lord, give me the courage to step fully into Your light. Help me embrace transparency, knowing that Your grace covers all my shortcomings. In Jesus' name, Amen.
