Devotional
Imagine trading something broken for something perfect - that's exactly what Jesus did for us on the cross. The first Adam's choice brought death through a tree in the garden, but Jesus, the second Adam, brought life through the tree of the cross. This divine exchange is at the heart of our faith. Every detail of Jesus' crucifixion was purposeful, designed to reverse the effects of humanity's fall. His pierced hands paid for our grasping hands, His crown of thorns bore our curse, His death gave us life. This wasn't a last-minute solution or a backup plan - it was God's masterful strategy of redemption, planned from the beginning.
Bible Verse
"For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." - Romans 5:12-17
