Devotional

Pain and trauma can feel like heavy chains that bind us to our past. Many of us carry wounds that shape our responses, relationships, and outlook on life. However, God calls us to a life of freedom and victory, not one defined by past hurts. Through His power, we can break free from the narrative that says 'I am this way because this happened to me.' God's strength is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient to heal our deepest wounds. When we surrender our pain to Him, He can transform our story into one of triumph and hope.

Bible Verse

"Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again." - 2 Corinthians 11:23

Reflection Question

How might your life change if you allowed God's power to be greater than your past pain?

Quote Quit being drugged down by stuff that happens to you. There is a God that is over all of that, who is infusing you with his power, who has a purpose for you, who has a race to run.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I give You my pain and trauma. Help me to see myself through Your eyes, not through the lens of my past hurts. Transform my story into one that brings hope to others. Amen.
