If we are going to mature, we're going to need a big dose of the Word of God. We're going to need the power of the Holy Spirit, and we're going to need all of life's troubles that make us more and more like Jesus. The Word of God is our foundation, and the Holy Spirit is our guide. Together, they equip us to face life's challenges and to grow in our faith. By immersing ourselves in the Word and relying on the Holy Spirit, and spiritual relationships with others in our church family we can navigate the ups and downs of life and become more like Christ.

Reflection Question How can you incorporate more of the Word of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit and spiritual relationships into your life?

Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Help me to immerse myself in Your Word and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance and strength. Amen.
