Devotional
Sometimes we feel we need to clean ourselves up before approaching God. We think we need to fix our problems, overcome our struggles, or achieve some level of goodness before we're acceptable. But that's not how God's love works. He invites us to come just as we are - messy, broken, confused, or hurt. Your past doesn't disqualify you. Your present struggles don't exclude you. Your doubts don't distance you from His love. Jesus has already paid for every sin - past, present, and future. The invitation is open to everyone, and the price has already been paid. You don't need to earn it; you just need to accept it.
Bible Verse
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:6-8
Reflection Question
What parts of yourself are you trying to fix before coming to God, instead of letting Him transform you through His love?
Quote You don't have to take a shower, but before a bath to come, just like you are.
Prayer
Father, thank You for accepting me just as I am. Help me to stop trying to earn Your love and simply receive it. Transform me from the inside out as I rest in Your grace. Amen.
