We want to create an environment for compassionate service at MCC. Serving others is a vital part of our spiritual growth. When we serve, we reflect the love of Christ and fulfill our calling to be His hands and feet in the world. Compassionate service is not just about meeting physical needs; it's about showing love, kindness, and empathy to those around us. By serving others, we grow in humility and become more like Jesus. “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” We worship God by serving others! 

 

Bible Verse So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31

 

Reflection Question In what ways can you show compassionate service to those in your community, in your family, or in your marriage?

Prayer Lord, help me to serve others with compassion and love especially those who are close to me. Give me a heart that seeks to meet the needs of those around me and to reflect Your love in all that I do. Amen.
