Faith is the key to experiencing the new birth that Jesus offers. It is through faith in Jesus and His sacrifice that we are born again and brought into God's Kingdom. This faith is not just intellectual agreement but a deep trust and reliance on Jesus for our salvation. Reflect on your own faith journey and the ways in which you can deepen your trust in Jesus. Take time to strengthen your faith by reading God's Word, praying, and engaging with a supportive community of believers.

 

Bible Verse  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

 

Reflection Question  How can you deepen your faith and trust in Jesus, and what steps can you take to strengthen your relationship with Him? Consider the following scriptures about training your mind.

 

Philippians 4. 8-9 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

 

Romans 12.1-2 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
